This villa is south facing and the morning sun floods the kitchen and lounge area from the floor-to-ceiling, east facing windows. The villas and casita at the Villas Nimbu compound are named after trees that are indigenous to Guanacate, and the wider Nicoya Peninsula. While staying at Villas Nimbu, Villa Carao you will see a large Carao tree just beyond its roof-line. These trees are especially easy to spot in late January through early March, due to their canopy of large pink blossoms, which are a sign of summer in the region. Kick back and relax next to our salt water plunge pool while you listen to the sounds of exotic birds and howler monkeys. Spend rambling evenings pool-side, beneath the covered rancho, ideal for intimate dining. Or float under the full moon at midnight and enjoy one of the world's top destinations for stargazing. Villa Carao features a fully-equipped, chef's kitchen with large island, fridge with built in ice-maker, toaster, blender, and coffeemaker. The adjacent dining table and sidebar open to a lounge area with Netflix ready TV, and comfy sectional. Villa Carao has wrap-around floor to ceiling windows, which open to the garden & covered terrace, complete with hammock. Villa Carao has beautiful teak details throughout, and air conditioning in each bdrm, as well as the kitchen and main living space. The property offers our guests fiber-optic, mesh network, 100mbps internet.
Sleeps 5 guests - 1 King Sized Bed & 1 Twin-Over-Queen Bunk
The principal bdrm features floor to ceiling windows that open onto the garden and pool area, a wardrobe with built-in safe, and a king sized bed with private 3-piece en suite + bidet. The secondary bdrm has a twin-over-queen bunk bed, a wardrobe, and direct entry into the secondary 3-piece bath + bidet. Bathrooms include rain shower-heads with hot water, handheld bidet, bath towels, as well as soap, along with shampoo & conditioner.

The Rancho features a lit, covered dining and serving area, a propane grill, ceiling fans, and additional restroom. Note: The pool area and Rancho are available to the guests in both villas.
Relax in Our Salt Water Pool & Outdoor Shower
The Villas NIMBU compound wraps around a t-shaped, saltwater pool with a raised shallow area. The pool is softly lit at dusk for evening ambiance. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor shower tucked into a palm grove at the entrance to the property, ideal for a post-surf rinse.
12-Minute Walk to Beach
Villas NIMBU is conveniently located in geographic center of the Nosara community. This means, you'll only be a 12-minute walk to Playa Nosara and the river mouth, and a 15-minute walk to North Pelada. If you happen to be driving both of those locations are only 5-minutes away.

Only a short 8-minute walk to grocery store, fruit & veggie market, butcher shop, liqueur & wine store, Beach Blend coffee, and convenience store.

There is FREE, gated onsite parking available for Villas NIMBU guests. The parking lot and property are also monitored by CCTV.

Villas NIMBU is conveniently located, in the geographic center of the Nosara community. The villas sit in the picturesque, community of Nosara Springs, which is south of the river, in the northern part of Playa Peleda, right in between Playa Guiones and Nosara town.
